Slow Cook Beef Stew

Ingredients
- 400g stew-cutt of beef, diced
- 200g potatoes (high wax breed, like salad potatoes) cut into irregular shapes
- 150g Chantenay carrots
- One onion, cut
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 250ml beef stock
- Tomato Puree
- Worcester sauce
- 2 bay leaves
- Paprika
- Thyme
Directions
- Heat some oil and brown the beef, seasoning with salt and pepper
- Transfer the beef to the slow cooker and add tomato puree, Worcester sauce and bay leaves
- Add the garlic, potatoes, carrots and onions to the frying pan, cooking in the remaining juice of the beef and adding the paprika and thyme
- Fry for a few minutes and then transfer to the slow cooker
- Add the beef stock and cook in high for at least 4 hours.
Serve with mash or rice
